OIA Scholar Conversation Hour
This group meets every Tuesday during the Ohio State academic year and provides an opportunity for the international community at Ohio State to improve their English conversation skills and understanding of American culture while sharing their own culture, insights and experiences. Thirty minutes of lecture on the topic of the day followed by 30 minutes of small group conversation practice. All are welcome to attend including native English speakers who would like to help our international community engage in conversation.

International Neighborhood Coffee Hour (INCH)
Offers free small group English classes and opportunities for women and children to make friends and enjoy activities. This group includes child care, and light snacks are provided. Meets Wednesday mornings from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.

The University Women's Club (UWC)
Established in 1895, the University Women's Club (UWC) is composed of faculty, faculty wives and staff, and is recruiting members from the community at large. One of its main goals is to raise money for the UWC scholarship fund. The UWC meets on the first Monday of each month between October and May (excluding January) at 11:30 a.m. in Ohio State's Faculty Club. There are also various interest groups women can join.
